Family Law Software gives you a choice of how to do this (both are free):

1. Client Software, which installs on your computer;

For Web Data Entry, you have to log in with four pieces of information:

a. Your Professional's ID.
b. Your Professional's Access Code.
c. Your name: ___________________________________
d. A password which you make up: ______________________
    You will need to enter your name and password EXACTLY the same each time.

Here's how to choose which of these two methods is best for you:

1. Client Software...

• Is more complete. You may enter more detailed information.
• Is faster.
• Allows you to send data back and forth, to and from your professional.

But ...

• Is Windows-based. Mac users need Boot Camp, Parallels, Fusion, or Crossover ($39.95 at Codeweavers.com).

2. Web Data Entry...

• Does not require a download to your computer to get started.
• Is Web-based and works from any computer.

But …

• Is less complete in terms of data entered.
• Is slower because of waiting for Web pages to appear.
• Allows only one-time one-way transmission of data. After that, your professional makes all changes.
